So, Jay-Z has dubbed Beyonce the next Michael Jackson..
..i swear, i almost fell out of my seat.
Beyonce is in no way shape or form the next “King Of Pop”. There was/is/will be only ONE Michael Jackson. Just because he is dead does not make him irrelevant and he cannot be replaced.
MJ actually cared about people and it showed throughout his music, hence songs such as, Heal The World, They Don’t Really Care About Us, Man In The Mirror and We Are the World. If I remember correctly Beyonce didnt even want to appear in the re-make, 25 For Haiti. All of Beyonce’s songs are generic. She doesnt talk about anyone or anything but herself, her body, her money..etc. She’s a talented singer, but come one now. Like Poetic Justice once said, “It ain’t poetry if you ain’t got nothing deep to say.”
Besides, a title like, “the next Michael Jackson” is one thing if it actually comes from the fans. Its a totally different thing if it comes from the person that you are sharing a bed with.
Seriously though, I would have prefered to hear some shit like Lady Gaga is the next Michael Jackson.
