So, I had surgery yesturday and I feel like crap right now. I’m pretty sure that I’m immume to Acetaminophen so my whole face hurts. To top it off, I still can’t eat anything that requires chewing or anything remotely warm.
I know that this surgery is going to make my life a little easier in the future, but right now I’m an ungrateful bitch….and I need some more ice packs.
fyi: You know like when you watch Grey’s Anatomy or any other medical show where the patient wakes up after surgery and is happy to be alive and is asking for their family? Yup, doesn’t actually happen. Not only does it take 2 minutes to open your eyes, it takes another 2 minutes just to form a word. The first thing I said to the nurse once I could form a sentence was, “I have to pee.”
“In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth….At least that’s what they say. He created the birds of the air and the beast of the field, and He looked at his creation and He saw that it was good. And then God created man and it’s been downhill ever since.”—Grey’s Anatomy; Dr. Bailey
